I like it but think it would be really confusing for me. There are already a lot of little flags on the NATO side.
Maybe make it an option like some other modders do with artillery gunners.

Since the new flags I proposed have different proportions, I forgot it might be a good idea to make a new victory hex graphic:

Hello guys,
Ok, I think the "sub-mod" option feature can be perfectly added, just like PAK-Mod or Soviet Storm do.
So everyone would be happy :D

Hello folks :)
Work on MdC 1.6 continues. Now I will tell you an update of the progress:

Major Equipment file improvement
Most of the units stats have been completely rewoked  With the help and feeback from McGuba and Estherr I updated almost every unit stat of the game, but without breaking the balance (I hope) between classes and nations. The relatively strength should be the same but this time we have a much wide range from the weakest unit to the strongest one in each class, so now the differences between upgraded units will be much more relevant. 8)
Also, some roles have been greatly improved. Example: vehicles like the M2 Bradley, BMP-1M or the Puma now have a switch option to AT mode, this is: range 1 and a greater HA than before. That's right, now you can move, attack a tank and retreat in the same turn without receiving any damage :P . Similar concept for RPG infantry (without recon move of course).
Artillery range, aircraft movement, etc have been boosted as well.
More info to come later, I am still working on this topic. Many thanks to McGuba for his recent suggestions.

European Scenario
Victory conditions shall be improved, missions are being added.
Of course most of the errors/bugs reported here have been addressed.

English Channel Tunnel: the tunnel has been added, it is a regular road to "help" the AI (and the human player, why not) to move the main British force into the continent.
Image

The Separatists/Ukrainian frontline: Now it is a little bit more accurate, lots of static defenses have been added.
Image

The Moscow defenses have been improved as well:
Image

Some cosmetics to the map, why not? 8)
Image

Units
And of course, I continue to improve the older icons to a more decent quality:
Image

Romanian tanks icons also received some love. The previous ones were mere T-55s reskinned which is not accurate, the TR series have significant differences to their Soviet counterparts:
Image

And, as always, new units will enter the battlefield:
Image

Of course more new units will make it to the next release :D

Best regards,
Akkula.

Great news! :)

The Separatists/Ukrainian frontline: Now it is a little bit more accurate, lots of static defenses have been added.
Will the Ukranian side of the frontline get a similar boost?

Perhaps creating minefields should be an option as well? (In the BE mod I added a weak truck unit which has a one way switch to a minefield so that it can be moved anywhere in the map to create additional minefields. However, it may affect the existing balance here.)

At the same time, currently there is an international ban on landmines, but not every countries signed it, most notably US, Russia and China have not. And wikipedia also claims "Ukraine has also signaled that they might have to withdraw from the treaty due to military necessity." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottawa_Tr ... es_Parties

So it is an interesting subject, but as the saying goes "in love and war everything is fair", I guess it is plausible to assume landmines would be used in such a conflict.

Some cosmetics to the map, why not? 8)
Maybe Prokhorovka memorial and a few others could be added as well? I think it is nice touch that these battlefields can be revisited in a modern setting and it is also a nice reminder that PzC is originally a WW2 game. :)

The fact that someone signed something there is not a reason that they will not use it if they are so pressed ) But the minefields also need equipment to make passages in it !

Hallo,
für alle "DEUTSCHEN" all hier :-)

ich hab da mal was vorbereitet:
https://www.designmodproject.de/panzer- ... -conflicts

Allerdings noch ohne die GC Europa 2021. Da gab es dmals noch nicht.
In Absprache mit Akkula mach ich mich da aber bei Gelegenheit dran...

Hello,
for all "GERMANS" all here :-)

I have prepared something:
https://www.designmodproject.de/panzer- ... -conflicts

However, without the GC Europe 2021, which did not exist yet.
In consultation with Akkula, I'll get to work on it when the opportunity arises...

Maybe a little bit yes,

I was thinking about it. Or maybe some sort of deployable strongpoint like I did in Soviet Storm. The new update is including a new fortified position unit that could be used for that end.

I strongly doubt that Ukraine didn't deploy any landmine at the frontline since 2014 :?

Thats a nice idea!. I was thinking to add a few more, but missed the Prokhorovka memorial, I will work on it

I suggest you to have a clean PzC installation, apply patch 1.32 and then apply the mod via JGSME.
Sometimes some mods can leave the game files structure like a mess and a fresh start is needed.

Let me know if that works for you.

Maybe some of them in the future. But not all of them for sure.

The new update shall include the customary icons improvements. Among them, the little A-4s :) :

Also, with the help of Rudankort, I managed to add more transports per side, so yeah, in the European scenario NATO will be able to have trains and more heavy air transports for most of the nations 8) :
