Camel Lancers

Is it my imagination or are the Camel Lancers displayed in a slightly larger scale than other cavalry? Both the riders and camels appear a little too big to me.

They are to scale. The rather exaggerated perspective used by the game engine makes them look larger because they are nearer.

I always assumed that they were depicted accurately and to scale as they are a little larger than horses. If you have ever been next to a camel you will know that they are large animals! On Google it says that the average height of a horse is 1.4-1.8 metres. For a camel, it is 1.8-2.0 metres.

They are to scale. The easiest way to tell is to look at the riders and compare them to the arab cavalry units.
Camels are huge. In the Ancients release, they were actually too small.
