I like the idea of Italian grand campaign - I'm suspecting it will range between fun and madness. I once made a French equipment version of Allied Corps which was quite good fun.

DLC 39 and 40 are very doable. Captured equipment is more worth to field than playing as the Germans. I will post 39 up to 41 when i finished a first playthrough and a changelist.

Yes, i add my personal e-file to it. It is only using vanilla icons. There might be more elaborate e-files out there, but my preference goes to a vanilla based e-file.
With the use of vanilla icons (and a bit imagination) i added several Italian units:
39 and 43 Paracadutisti,
36, 39 and 43 Genio guastatori,
SMG Modello 35, 38 and 38/42,
L3/33 tankette and the flamethrower version,
L6 Lf (flamethrower),
The fictive L9 version (pz 38(t)) models 39 through 43,
M16/43 (not produced),
More Panther versions,
37/45 M35/36 AT,
Artillery models ranging from 65mm to 210mm,

SM.79 Flying bomb,

Is it logical to keep French tanks in purchases? Maybe make them trophies, SE units?

Will the San Marco Marines, the IMAM.RO line of aircraft and 45 and 81mm infantry mortars be added?

Also T34 / 76, Somua, Renoult, Dewoitine D.520, Morane-Saulnier MS.406, Potez 63-11, as trophies / SE?

I only add units to the equipment file which have a vanilla icon, so what you suggest is not possible unfortunately. Still, the mod is compatible with any custom and/or personal e-file (as long the vanilla ID's are respected).
The French purchasable tanks disappear after 1940.
I might add different capturables by request in some of the scenarios which contain none. Adding more SE units does not seem necessary.

v0.1 includes all scenarios from DLC 39, 40 and 41

Heroes appear in the same scenarios as playing the Grand Campaign as Germany. The heroes do appear in Italian equipment though. For example, super Rudel still appears in Minsk41 scenario.

Untested scenarios: Wyszogrod and Warsaw North of DLC 39, the British branch of DLC 40, the Leningrad branch of DLC 41.

Capturable equipment:

Warsaw North/South: 149mm 149/19
Sedan: Somua S35
Dunkirk: Matilda II
Dijon: Char B1
Reims: Char B1
Metaxas Line: Valentine II
Minsk41: SU-5-2
Smolensk: KV-1B
Novgorod: AT-1
Zolotonosha: KV-2
Vyazma: KV-1A
Streets of Moscow: KV-1B, KV-2
Demyansk Pocket: T-34/41

Scenario changes:

DLC 39 and 40 scenarios are based on the vanilla scenarios. The exceptions are the scenario Spoils of War which includes two core joining self-propelled tank destroyers (turn 1) and the scenario Stonne with an extra airfield.
DLC 41 scenarios are based on the GC upgrade project scenarios. The exception is Vyazma with two extra airfields and two auxiliary Italian units.

Yrfin, I was worried about the Italians having to take on the world with L3 and L6 tankettes, but with the L170 there is hope for victory!

Actually, I remembered playing Nico's Italian mod for Afrika Korps and the Italian units are not as bad as I'd suggested earlier. Early on, the tanks are about as good as anyone else's and even the standard infantry is good defensively while some of the artillery, guns and aircraft are better than many other nations. I think the real problems come about 1942 when they start to face Shermans, churchills and T34s.

I mentioned that a French Allied Corps works OK to Tunisia, though I had added some extra upgrades like Somua S40, S41 and S42, Char B1 ter and so on, so your suggestion for British GC should work quite well. Churchill Crocs would be very handy against entrenched conscripts in thick forest

I think France GC will be good enought (in Real History, not in niki's Fantasy).
- France 40 (good counterstrakes, Fight for South)
- Nord Africa 41
- Tunis 42
- Sicily/Italy 43
- Normandy 44

Playing DLC 39, Italian forces do as well as German forces. During my playthrough, the hardest scenario was Spoils of war. I thought Warsaw would be the hardest but the L3/33 flamethrower does make the battle a bit easier.
Playing DLC 40, the battles against the Belgians and the Dutch offer not that much of a challenge. The real challenge is against French armor, especially Stonne and the scenarios after Dunkirk. But still, no unit losses in the first two DLCs.
Playing DLC 41, the difference in difficulty is to use the Soviet capturables or not. Ironically, the fist unit i lost was an infantry unit in Streets of Moscow.
