Land Transport (Opel Blitz) Disappears

Trying to figure out why my infantry units lose their Opel Blitz trucks from time to time. One moment they have one, the next they don't.

Certain terrains don't allow vehicle movements, like Thick Forest or High Mountains, while do allow infantry movements, so if you move an infantry with transport into such hexes, they lose their transport. You will get a "No transport" special icon for such hexes. Some terrains cost more for vehicle movement than infantry movement, so if you want to go too far from what your transport allows, you have to give them up.
Loading them to an air transport also disables the vehicle transports, you have to get them their transports again from a supply hex after disembarked.
