A Year Already!
Re: 1 month from last dlc release - waiting for announcement
Yeah 1 Year. Happy Birthday PanzerCorps 2
Over 500 Hours played if steam is correct, and if i add all the pc2 related content besides gaming, like edmons videos, its way way more. (maybe i play to much..??! - nahh *g*)
So its quite obvious that this is a real great and awesome game to me. I cant wait that massive announcements

@Tassadar respect!
Re: 1 month from last dlc release - waiting for announcement
They promised to make new announcement at Home of Wargamers Live. But we got nothing, so the game is dead.
Panzer Corps 2 is the most ahistorical game in the history of WW2 games

Re: 1 month from last dlc release - waiting for announcement
Um, now that's really overdramatic. No, the game most definately isn't dead...
Why can't some people just wait a tiny bit?
If anything, the time between DLCs has been rather short compared to most other strategy games out there. Game-developers have schedules they run on. Those don't just get thrown overboard just because one or two people on a message board get a bit impatient. Especially when that impatience makes little sense at all, as not only is the time between DLCs relatively short, but right now we are still quite a bit away from matching the time-span between DLCs we have seen so far. There was a 3 1/2 month gap between the 1939 DLC and the 1940 one, followed by 3 months and one week between 1940 and 1941. If the same gap happens again, the next DLC would arrive in late June / early July.
Developer diaries tend to start 4-5 weeks before release, so any news coming out this month would still be just in line with every other DLC.
Re: 1 month from last dlc release - waiting for announcement
No, there wasn't a promise. Kerensky said it was possible, but also said no guarantee.

Take the time to assess your core. We're halfway (4 DLC done, presumably 4 to come) through the war, and the easy half is all over. Is your core prepared for what's coming?
I'm looking forward to more defensive scenarios.

Re: 1 month from last dlc release - waiting for announcement
I have thought of that some. Some heroes that we thought were garage (e.g. Tenacious Defenser, Ferocious Defense) may even have some real value later on. But if you are familiar with when various equipment becomes available, and I expect most players have for some time already, especially if you try to take advantage of Denied Air Force and/or Artillery as much as possible.Scrapulous wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 12:03 am Take the time to assess your core. My core most recent core at the end of '41:
8 x Panzers
15 x Infantry (2x FSJ, 3x Grenadier, 3x Wehr Infantry, 4x Pioniere, 2x Azul, 1x bridging)
8 x Artillery
6 x Recon
4 x Anti-Air
8 x Fighters
6 x Tactical Bombers (including one Recon aircraft from Spain)
3 x Strategic Bombers
2 x Armored Trains

i like this idea of core showcase lets make this a trend until more news about new dlcadiekmann wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 1:48 amI have thought of that some. with lot of prestige i have a sizable reserve force so i try to rotate them so everyone has some ex units are like follows
12x panzers
30x infantry used depending on the scenario (4x pioneers, 10 Wher infantry, 4 grenadiers, 4 flaschimjagers, 4 gabirjager 2 azul infantry 2 bridges )
6x Artillery
4x recons
8x Fighters
12x tactical (8 bombers 4 heavy fighters i used instead of fighters for russia)
6x strategic (using them for ship scenarios mostly sometimes if core count allows for some entrenchment killing or enemy movement disabling)
2x armored trains
Re: 1 month from last dlc release - waiting for announcement
Yes, I rotate them too. At the beginning ofAO40, I bought 2 FSJ and switched three of my other infantry into FSJ including my bridging unit. By the end of '41, all of my art, panzers, inf, AT, and recon have over 3000 exp, and most are over or close to 4000 (with the exception of the AA units.) I don't foresee our slot allotment increasing enough to ever need a core with more units than what I have now, and those increases that we do get will be absorbed by the increase in core slots that the better panzers and other '43 and beyond units require.BaronVonKrieg wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 7:52 ami like this idea of core showcase lets make this a trend until more news about new dlcadiekmann wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 1:48 amI have thought of that some.
