Holiday in Cambodia

Post by spikemesq »

Eagerly awaiting the Empire and Dragon book, I was sorting through my various collections of Asian armies.

Picking over my Khmer army, I am puzzled as to how FoG will treat its Elephant mounted Bolt Shooters.

In DBM, these were uniquely classed as the gimmicky El(X). They were absurdly powerful until the changes to Art(F) in later versions of 2.0 or maybe 3.0.

Any clues as to what on Earth they might be classed as in FoG?

Lt Art?

El with Bw shooting factors?

Something else?

Not really looking for them to be stupidly unbalancing, but I cannot even guess where they fit in the NWO.

I remember that the current consensus on elephant-mounted bolt shooters was that the animals were used just to carry the weapons, not to actually shoot them while being carried. If so, Elephants will just be elephants. I really can't imagine them moving and shooting in actual practice.

Not nearly enough Dead Kennedys references on this list, IMHO.
