How do I know if I have a trojan horse on my computer? Earlier today when I went to a website my McAfee virus protection said something about a trojan horse being on my computer (I tried to delete it and quarantine it but it wouldn't allow me to). Since then I've been running every diagnostic trojan horse program that I can find. The problem is that none of them say that I have a trojan horse except for one (anti trojan elite). How can I tell if I have one on my computer?

Re: Trojan
Install a FREE anti-virus like Avira. It is got a small foot-print and detection rates are as good as the best.paolari wrote:How do I know if I have a trojan horse on my computer? If you want you can also install a FREE firewall. I found COMODO firewall to be the simplest and best. Firewall blocks the trojan from "phoning home".

Hope you bought this game. Then you have nothing to worry. It is what they call a false positive. If not, it probably is a Trojan.bendamaster wrote:McAfee always tells me that the 'starter' file of CEaW is a trojan. The only way I deal with it is restore the 'starter' file then turn off the AntiVirus whenever I start CEaW. It's a bit ham handed, but the crucial thing is, it works.
