No love for focke Wulf

why isnt there a Focke Wulf FW190 unit in 1941 dlc, they started appearing in 1940 as pre production models, and where in active service in June of 1941, they are not same as later fw190 just like bf109b isnt same as bf109g, like there where over 20 variants of this plane.

I'd take a guess and say it's probably because they weren't used in the east at that point. The FW 190 didn't appear in the east until autumn 1942, prior to that it was exclusively used in the west.

Doesn't mean that it couldn't have appeared anyway, but not having it around does have some valid reasons.

well it wasnt as powerful as later models of the aircraft, it had problems with engine cooling (so lower range to balance it) and no cannon armament (so maybe not so high air attack, again for balance) i think it would by an ok alternative to bf at that point as well

It was the same in PC1. It didn't show until 1942. But as others have already mentioned, just because it wasn't deployed until then in the East, that doesn't mean it couldn't have or wasn't around. We're not even talking about a pre-production model. Given all of the other "liberties" that this game takes, and rightly so, why not the Fw 190A? It would hardly be a stretch.

It was the same in PC1. It didn't show until 1942. But as others have already mentioned, just because it wasn't deployed until then in the East, that doesn't mean it couldn't have or wasn't around. We're not even talking about a pre-production model. Given all of the other "liberties" that this game takes, and rightly so, why not the Fw 190A? It would hardly be a stretch.
