Help what am I missing

US marines opening scenario.

One secondary victory is to destroy the seaplane base on Tulagi. How's it done. Once the unit on it is destoyed by any means you can only capture it, you can bomb it, blow it up or do anything to it. I must be missing something obvious.

The secondary objective on Tulagi is "Destroy the enemy floatplane in 9 turns"
