Progress loss

I was playing the Romanian officers escort mission in panzer corps 1 when I manually saved the game twice before quitting the game, the next day I found that my progress has not only been lost, but the game threw me back to the third final mission of the Invasion of France. I was of course in deep frustration, since this is the 3rd time it has happened.


Is this a bug? and how do I fix this and prevent it from happening again in the future?

without a save, or even a mission number without or stating what type if any mods your using, it's hard to offer any advice tbh, welcome to the forum, if you can provide a save before it happens and say what version your using, build number, steam, site or what version your using, the more information the better, hopefully someone will be able to offer you a solution or advice to help

Have you checked your save folders? somewhere here: C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Save

Is your hard drive full? Sounds like an issue with saving?
