Charge after move through.

Came across what seems to be an anomaly to me.
Am playing the Thracians. My Light Jav want to charge the fragmented archers on the hill.
I cannot do a charge move but they can advance through the peltasts.

So now I move them through the peltasts.
They have 4 APs left but are unable to execute the charge. They can shoot.

Clearly not that important as an issue so posting more as a matter of interest.

There ought to be some code to stop units charging after a pass through. I can't immediately find it though, so now I am not sure.

Two cases (A and B), 4 APs after passing-though in both cases :

A : after passing though, the unit can't charge

It appears to be something to do with the turn perhaps, but I am still not sure why.

btw, in the case A, if you turn (to face the back of the Peltasts) before passing through, it is a free turn and after the passing though, you still can't charge despite your 4 APs.

Either way it is a free turn. It seems to be the only difference.

A free turn (if one looks at the amount of APs on the screen) that is not considered as a free turn by another line of code dealing with move/charge and that knows nothing about the current amount of APs ?

As I say, I can't explain it currently, and don't really have time to ponder it at present. If I was going to standardise it, I would do so as troops never being able to charge after passing through another unit.
