I am not sure if this only a small script sequenze without any impact like the recon pilot

On the second training mission where you can choose the antitank aso. You will find this scriptet sequenze on the south west of the map. You will found there some traintracks and bunkets. In the scriptet event you will be informed that you enter military special zone and you should leave the area (you should read next time you map correct aso)

Recon pilot is Rudel who becomes a Hero in AO 41

hehe i know this, i only want to inform about this small scriptet event (but i dont know exactly if this has some impact on some other stuff later or its only for some enviroment telling aso,) especially that this scriptet event is somewhere, where you only get if you ignore the training dummys and travel there with a unit

Thank you Starchaser (and Tassadar), this has been a really useful guide. Getting 100 KV-1/40s was no simple feat, I'm glad I was forewarned.

I have been seeing it around the forum, but I have not see anyone ask directly: In order to get the Jagdtiger in the Mozhaysk Scenario on Turn 20, do you need to have 100 KV 1/40's stockpiled due to capturing them throughout the campaign, or are you granted them at some point in the campaign, like in the Kiev scenario (I have not yet finished the entire campaign), without having to capture them during a battle??? It seems a little difficult to achieve in many of the scenarios, outside of Raseinai... What have been folks experience with this?

you have to capture at least ~80 of them in the regular way which is really hard without the correct heroes (envelopment) or the "trophies of war" trait

Well, damn... Would have been nice to get a hint or some forewarning early on in the campaign, I suppose. Any scenarios we should focus on that people have played that present the best opportunities to capture these tanks? I think I am going to go back and replay the entire DLC once I get to Gomel...

im sitting on 200+ kv1-s with a not imported core.

choose trophies of war+split+zone of control trait combo and you are set. if you have an envelopment or overwhelming attack hero along with the scavenger you start the campaign with you can easily capture over 300 of these tanks, even 400+.

there is no reason to use german tanks and anti tanks in this dlc once you get to barbarossa, kv1/40 + t34/40 are way superior along with zis-30 for anti tank.

I do not play with Trophies, Split, and ZOC and I still had nearly 200 captured KV1/40 tanks by Klin. I did have one tank with OA + Envelop + Scav and with the knowledge of it from participating in the beta made it a point to hunt for them. It also helps if you do not use any KV1/40 tanks yourself that can deplete your stock.

In terms of no notification...well these sorts of things always eventually get leaked/spoiled by someone here on the forum. My first playthrough I forgot about it and ended up with 96 of them! So, it gives another reason or goal to aim for in your next playthrough which I usually do anyway after learning things from the previous time.

Like back when it was just the SCW, I "knew" that there was probably something special with that out of the way Gibraltar hex. I "missed" it because I captured it with an AT/AA gun instead of an Inf unit and then nothing happened! Little did I suspect, however, that it had to be a inf unit to trigger the big Russian gun prize. I am someone who replays DLCs anyway to improve and try different tactics so it's not a big deal to me if I miss things or find out about them later.

in AO 1939 Brest/Wlodawa the event where I can exchange Prestige for Commendations does not show up. I tried it with both campaign paths Brest and also Wlodawa. Also at start of the Warsaw Mission there is no event for the russian portotype. Any Idea how I can fix this or what is the reason? I am playing Game Version 1.1.21 with all AO DLC (SCW, 1939, 1940, 1941).

I'm not sure about the Prestige Sink, but I know regular Commendation Reward Events won't appear if you don't have enough Commendations.

Thanks for the feedback. I assumed that the events are not shown if you have not enough Commendations. Anyone an idea why the prestige sink event does not show up. Is it possible to force it?

I have heard playing on certain non-English localizations has a tendency to interfere with some Prestige Sink events.

Any chance that is your issue?

Kiev 1941
Objectives
The one Objective of capturing Kiev gives +5 Commendations.
Total: Earned 37/Spent 26

I added bold for emphasis. Unless I'm misunderstanding, I think the Kiev line should show Earned 42, and each scenario Earned count after that should also be incremented by 5.

Did you raid Kremlin in Moscow mission ? i think you also need that too to fire the event.
