Since Germany controlled France, they have own opponent groups and try to destory the Germen armies as supplies.. Spies find.... Same way other land...

Will the english elite soldiers send a secret group and shall destory the heavy water from Norway?

EDIT :

Will it use as spesial events? A message : A rude french opponent group destoryed a german suppliy base....

I'm sure there will be some form of espionage/resisitance/partisans, but no-onehas given us any hints how yet

Yes, if this is supposed to be a strategic game, it should be abstracted.

Precisely.

My personal candidate for best-ever strategic simulation of the Eastern Front in WW2 is still the old SPI classic "War in the East".

I just adored the way it gave the russian player full control of his production and training, letting him build (almost) the army of his choice, while still binding him with certain political/strategic/cultural requirements.

For instance, he was required to build one air unit every other turn, period.

He was also required to build a certain number of cavalry units, even though they were of limited usefulness, simply because a certain measure of his available manpower was useless as anything but cavalry.

But I digress (nothing new). I was going to say that partisan warfare was abstracted as a supply effect, with certain units being pulled out of his OOB at times. For instance, historically, SS Totenkopf spent most of the summer of 1943 engaged in anti-partisan operations in the ukraine.
