Aetius39 (Armenia) defeats Karvon (Mesopotamia) 43-11
Some early success was pushed back by our cavalry getting shredded by the Mesopotamian Greeks. Armenians still had the advantage, but had to grind it out (as Mesopotamians had advantage in the terrain), while holding off any rear flank attacks or sorties from said protected enclosure. GG!

Aetius39 (Kappadokia) defeats (Blagrot) Makadonia 40-9
The True Rulers of Kappadokia, with the help of their loyal citizens, repelled the re-takeover attempt righteously and gloriously!
(Actually got a bit lucky as we had some fragged pikes that could have made big trouble if some of Makadonia's units held on, but that won't be in the records).

Sorry, not possible until next round since "... entering into and abandoning a coalition becomes effective the round after the announcement has been made by all applicable players..."

Re: DiSp: Dividing the Spoils - Tournament 1
Also, I just realised that the correct order of attack declarations is as follows:
Order of attack declarations
1. deeter 48% (Mar. 22 )
2. Aetius39 43% (Mar. 23 )
3. kronenblatt 21% (Mar. 24 )
4. rbodleyscott 9% drew (Mar. 25 )
5. Karvon 11% (Mar. 26 )
6. Blagrot 9% lost (Mar. 27 )
Since coalition partners use the highest inflicted casualties among the coalition in the overall order, but rank according to their own within their coalition. So not much practical significance, but rbodleyscott and Karvon switch orders.

Re: Dividing the Spoils - Tournament 1: Concluded
Congratulations to the winning alliance!
It's been some time since I decided to "hand over" my territories to help with the formation of the new eastern superpower.
I keep getting this nagging feeling our new rulers should look to the west though....
Thanks Andreas for running this.
Cheers,
Dave
