Most things are possible.

Current Mongol player stats in DL:

Constantinix, Div A: 1 loss.
ericdoman1, Div B: 5 wins and 2 losses.
Ironclad, Div C: 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses.
SpeedyCM, Div D: 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.

At the moment quite evenly spread.

Really, that's surprising I have found them to be rather mediocre especially when faced with all the knights and sergeants going around.

I think they are fine as they are both capacity-wise and price-wise.

The issue is that "all-shock armies" and "all-mounted archer armies" are very different from one another and it can be quite boring/tedious to play these one against the other. That's not something the game can avoid though, it is a direct result of unhistorical MP pairings. Scottish shiltron armies were not designed to fight Mongol riders and vice versa, thus this sort of unhistorical MP pairing can feel very weird... as it probably would if these armies met in reality.

This was actually one of the reasons why in our mod we created a separate "German Border Marches (Styria&Austria)" armylist, because the armies of these lands were more geared towards fighting the Hungarians with their fighting style.

I think, that Mongol armies were designed to defeat every single opponent, and they do so.
Schiltron will be just shot to pieces by Mongols.
