Transfer from one campaign to the next one

I have been playing PC2's DLC sinced the release of SCW and all up.
I think I can recall when I transfered my core force, I didnt had to make new choices of traits, picture and name of my character - but now in AO 1941 I have to do all 3 (traits, name and picture) - what have I done wrong?
I cant remember what I did in the previous DLC's to not have to do it all over again - I need some help here.

Think I got it - I have to load the last save in the last mission from 1940 and then the game simply ask me to continue in 1941, when I finish 1940

If you jump into the next DLC from the last turn of the previous DLC it automatically imports your core and keeps your Traits.

If you "end turn" Close PzC2 and them start later with through the New Campaign Menu you have the choice to import your core or not, or which core to import.
As part of a 'new campaign' you pick your Traits as you would on any new campaign..
