Unit purchase screen error

After installing AO 1941 and getting the v.1.1.20 patch the game crashed on the unit purchase screen in the tank tab during the Zagreb scenario. I reloaded turn 0 of Valona mission and the same thing happens. If my understanding of the message is correct, it's due to an issue with one of the texture files for the Panzer 35(t). Not sure if it's due to a missing file or something else.

I had a crash and error upon installing AO 1941, and could not start it at first, but using the "Verify/Repair" function on GOG I was able to fix it. I'll probably try reinstalling the game from scratch and see if this fixes anything, as it will probably prevent me from upgrading any tanks at all.

EDIT - reinstalling the game, including deleting the local files, did not help. Same for starting a new campaign with importing the core instead of continuing form a 1940 save.

Thanks for reports, and sorry for this, clearly very serious, issue. For some reason, I cannot repro this issue on my end using GOG version, but file comparison does show that one file related to Panzer35H735fH35 model does not match the file which I provided as part of the 1.1.20 build. Could you please try to locate the file Panzer35H735fH35_Wheeldrive.uasset in your installation, and replace it with the correct version which I've uploaded here:

Thanks! It works like a charm now, the error is gone.

On a side note to help fix it long term in the build, I downloaded the GOG offline backup installers and reinstalled the game using those (thinking it might be happening if the installation is done online), but it copied the same old file as if installed via GOG galaxy directly.

Thanks for update. I've contacted Slitherine and notified them about this issue. I hope that GOG fileset will be fixed soon. In the mean time, the fix can only be done manually.

Seems to work replaced the file and so far no crash
