AO 1941 - GOG Release Date?

STEAM lists it as available on Mar 18 (in 3 days), however there is nothing on GOG...

When will it be available on GOG?

In the past AO cases it did not appear on GOG util release if my memory serves me right. I also use GOG and got it on the exact day, pre-purchase for AO was not enabled. So nothing to worry about IMHO, it will be on time.

A lot of people prefer GOG to STEAM, for a host of reasons...

It would be good to see GOG get the same preferential treatment that STEAM gets and not be treated like a 2nd class citizen....

So as a fan of your games and someone who hugely prefers GOG to STEAM, please give GOG the same attention as STEAM...

Steam gets preferential treatment because they host the Beta testing.
I think that GOG may do some customization which could slow things down a bits.

Prefer GOG over Steam though Steam has benefits per mods, etc.
Prefer Slitherine/Matrix over GOG...Steam keys are usually available, but not on GOG.

GOG = Good Old Games (gog.com)

They are another platform that hosts game releases and specialize in keeping old games running...

IMHO they do a much better job than STEAM with old games (I've used both a fair bit)... I have old DOS based games that I love and can still play them because of GOG.

So in 20 years, when I will still (probably) want to play Panzer Corps 2 on Windows 2040, I expect my GOG version to still work, while the Steam one probably has been removed or has glitches...

same thing for me, i have all theses epic games (panzer corps/codename panzer/ order of battle) for decades with GOG version
