Division B
Aetius39 (Anglo-Saxon) defeats lydianed (Norman) 61-44
The Normans had better cavalry and front line damage units than the Anglo-Saxons, so the Saxons spread out their more numerical army and made a super long front. It took some time for the lines to engage because of this attempt, but when it did the Norman dismounted lancers tore a hole in the weaker middle while the Saxons ganged up on the sides and flanked them to death. Very tough battle as the plan was to take out his cavalry early, but they didn't fall for that and some remained and started causing damage at the end. If one unit had regained cohesion it would have been a much worse situation. GG to my opponent who played a great, fun game.^^

random27 (arabs) beats tmac11 (polish) 64-38
Like tmac11 said me in the battle , the fight on my left between our cavalries took a lot of turns. On my right , arabs archers were on a hill behind a stream and disrupted some units that veteran dailami and irregular troops finished.
The map was good for me and combat results were good too
Thx for the game , see you soon on the battlefield

Zawzgrzyt - Armenian 885-1045 AD beat phlewis - Arab (North Africa) 789-999 AD with Andalusian 756-1049 AD allies 61-54
Hard fight through the whole battle.
The opponent ruined my brilliant plan by decimating my archers on rough terrain and smashing my cavalry on the right flank (great disappointment). Fortunately, my defensive infantry performed quite well on the offensive. Thanks for good game.

oscarius - Scots (Isles and Highlands) 1050-1319 AD beat Challenge1 - German (Imperial) 1200-1319 AD with Free Canton 1200-1319 AD allies 42 - 6
An interesting map with a deep stream through the middle made our deployment require some thought. My highlanders easily won the shootout with his light foot so I advanced and used the stream as a fallback position for my reserves in case his knights cracked my line. Tired of my ranged harassment the foe eventually advanced but couldn't inflict too much damage. Good match, if I were Challenge I would have employed his hidden reserve cavalry to try flank (or at least pin down) a lot earlier but I suspect the terrain and my highlanders made him weary. Well played.

I suspect my opponent will shortly be posting his result! The map strongly favoured the Egyptians this round - we probably should have re-rolled the map. thanks for a tough fight
