A slow grindy assault by my dismounted knights was able to engage my opponent's Medium Spears in the open where they were at a cohesion check disadvantage. A couple lucky combat rolls and failed cohesion checks later, I was able to snowball my minor advantage into a larger one before my opponent's superior numbers of knights could be brought into play on my flanks. Once again, dismounted knights earn their keep when backed up by cheap spear support.

Franco-Norman cavalry made a detour in order to hit Polish-Ruthenian army from the rear. In the meantime the latter managed to get an upper hand on their left flank, though, routing Franco-Norman superior foot quickly enough to be able to reorganize and face incoming enemy lancers and break them too. Timing was crucial for the Poles and the Ruthenians and they were also quite lucky.
