What you have is a quick and dirty selection to get play testing the rules with.

The reference to "2 more lists" was made before the last two were written and included in the pack that you should all have. Sorry we omitted to change that part of the script! The sample lists were chosen with a view to giving the draft rules a thorough work-out while permitting some historical match-ups. We certainly want to address those eastern armies but not yet, I'm afraid. Hope this doesn't disappoint too much.Huaxtec15mm wrote:Indeed it does say "2" more army lists! I missed that on my first glance as I was in such a big hurry to print out the army lists. Heres hoping for Ming, Koreans, and Samurai in the next list!NicktheLemming wrote:Bear in mind that a LOT of stuff was missing, not just eastern lists. These are by no means anywhere near the amount of lists they'll be doing, just a quick sample of some armies. The email did say that some more lists would be coming shortly too.Huaxtec15mm wrote:Got the rules and army lists today. Very happy bo I must say. 'What you have is a quick and dirty selection to get play testing the rules with.' Oh that I had the rules to playtest with! I have already built two pairs of army lists for historical battles, just need the rules to give them a run.

Fair enough I'm sure we'll be interested to see them, but could you please play test with the lists sent out (at least initially) so that the test results are have a common base.

So are the rules being sent seperately? I got the QRS and lists earlier this week....nikgaukroger wrote:Huaxtec15mm wrote:Got the rules and army lists today. Very happy bo I must say. Surprised to see that Aztecs were included but Asians (Koreans, Samurai, Ming) were not!

Were does one get a "Down and Dirty" Beta set of rules? I have Samurai and I can't be yelled at by the "Rules end at 1500 bad man". Iam pretty bright (?) read a lot about the samurai during the Country at War peroid. Plus the min/max unit size. is it still 4 to 8?
Since the Samurai army of this peroid is nothing but a medevil army with Teppo all I really need is musket POA chart and away I go.
