Missing knights in the sandbox campaign mode

Post by Dux Limitis »

I got 15 knights on the field in a stage,8 feudal and 7 city knights.None of them were routed or disappeared. But when after the fight I counted my units and find one unit of the feudal knights was missed,is that something wrong?(Kind of this thing happened before but they were routed and some of them disappeared on the field.By the way I wanna ask if a unit routed or disappeared on the field will be "lost" and removed from the army list after the battle? Is that correct?)

No, this is working as intended.

At the end of a battle, if losses are heavy enough, units of the same type will be consolidated. The most damaged ones will be disbanded, and their men distributed between the others. Because of the way that it works, this is more likely to happen when you have a large number of units of the same type.

All of your knight units have 115/120, rather than different numbers of losses, which indicates that this is what has happened.

No, the units may get consolidated as above if losses are too great.

Thanks for responds, and these didn't mention in the manual(7.1-7.12) that's why I ask.Could you please add these to the game's manual in the future? Thanks in advance(Seems not that much of people play the campaigns.).
