has ANYONE tested this in other than easy mode? if not, just try it on hard with scaling.

I loosed on veteran scale on, veteran scale off ; usually i play in legendary, i lowered evolution campaign to veteran, after getting my ass kicked. I will try on normal, hope not have to get humiliated playing it on easy...

*spoiler - actually it is almost the last level, it is a very short campaign, nothing like empire aflame so it is ok to lose a few units then spam newts as cannon fodder.

1. rng matters - if you get monster hunters it is 10x harder than the charmable eagles
2. it is important to defeat the western army so you can take those ***in eggholders to the sea
3. szzlag defending the speed shrine until mid-phase 2 with the ancestors help a lot.

the last level is a walk in the park after that if you take the human settlement.
