Modding mapview.text precluded

I tried to mod the mapview.txt in order to enable the possibility of looking the units from a different and nearer perspective but when I close the modded file it says I'm not authorized to modify it. Does anyone know how to overcome the problem?

It's just a matter of overriding the your PC's Security restrictions. There are probably several ways of doing it, but maybe the simplest is this:

Copy and paste the MAPVIEW.TXT to a folder in your Documents. Right Click on it and select Properties, there will probably be a tick in the Read Only box, click on it to remove the tick. Then edit that copy of the MAPVIEW.TXT and save it. Then copy and paste it back into your game's Data folder.

Before doing that you should really copy and paste the MAPVIEW.TXT to a safe folder in your Documents, just in case you want to revert back to the original file.
