I had one incident where a pursuing cavalry unit of mine hits a Phalanx unit of Mark's in the rear and disrupts it. Equallish in combat and then I break off? Isn't it better for me to stick and fight? Also an armoured lancer, charges and disrupts a Thureophoroi unit but breaks off. Mark had another Thureophoroi unit nearby, that could charge and it would be in rough going but I have seen that a few times now when cavalry break off after disrupting a unit? Thanks to Mark for a cracking game.

A really good game and good chat. Considering he lost his right wing quite early my opponent recovered well and almost took the hill we were both fighting over. Could have gone either way in the middle, but my defending pikes lasted just long enough to let my left wing get back into the fight. Looking forward to the next time Blagrot when I'm sure your revenge will be swift and deadly! well played.
