Issue with Player Force Selection on Advance Guard Battle Type

Hi there, yesterday I created a challenge with the 'Advance Guard' battle type and with player force selection (rather than auto).

There was a phase to purchase units and whilst it was possible to do so, it was not possible to move the units to new positions (they appeared at the edge of the map when bought, obviously). However I was able to click 'Auto Deploy' which moved all of my newly purchased units up to my front line.

Following the purchase phase there was not a deployment phase, it was not possible to change unit positions, move the general etc etc.

When the game began it was clear that my opponent had had a similar experience, however they had not clicked the 'Auto Deploy' button. Therefore I had all of my units in position, but they had several of theirs stuck right at their rear.

I think this has given me a bit of an advantage and this could perhaps use a tweak!

I hadn't noticed this while testing, because I always click the autodeploy button.

I will take a look at fixing the issue.

Thanks - turns out once the fog of war lifted my opponent had auto deployed too. Perhaps I'm just a bit slow to pick things up :) .

I'm guessing with Advance Guard it's meant to be a meeting engagement and the points system means letting players pick where on the map they deploy could allow for some cheesy plays. I think for my first play through a little clarity that there won't be a deployment phase (or maybe even a forced auto deploy) would prevent me getting confused.

Aye, I will look at how best to deal with the issue.
