oscarius - Scots (Isles and Highlands) 1050-1319 AD (1200) defeats Nijis - Hungarian 1200-1319 AD (1200) 64 - 40
A tight game that ended with both sides bloodied, wary and out of ammunition. It very well might have been a draw with Nijis able to pull away his relatively unscathed cavalry to safety but the sacrifice of a few hundred Highlanders to destroy his Wagon Guard (damn thing kept rallying) proved worth it giving me enough points to get over 60. Well-played!

Geffalrus (Germans S/E) defeats oscarius (Scots Isles) 55-27
Once I knew that I was facing a heavy infantry army backed up by nothing but medium foot, I knew that I'd have to try a big knight charge. Did it work? Sort of? My knights plowed into the veritable zerg swarm of axe wielding scotsmen and saw some isolated success disrupting and routing a few units. But then all the other scotsmen started piling into the melee, and things got a bit dicey. My knights refused to break, but the scots refused to stop chopping, and you can only take an axe to the helmet a few times before your body decides it's time for a nap. Fortunately for the mounted knights, they were eventually rescued by the indomitable foot knights who continue to be well worth 78 points. Even my single unit of Ribauds managed to earn its keep seeing off some kerns. Take that, Snugglebunny.
Good game to my opponent and his creative use of a very interesting army list.

Geoffrey.P.Smith with Egyptians 570-525 BC & Kyrenean Greek allies defeated General Kostas - Median 626-550 BC with Cimmerian 750-600 BC allies by 48% to 14%
A sprawling desert battle of epic proportions. On my right flank the heavy chariots had a lot of luck in their duel with the heavy cavalry & in the centre the Greeks pushed forward into the Median line while thousands of arrows poured down from both sides. A very exciting conflict thanks General, I must say I had some luck with the morale checks. The mirror game promises to be a longer and more bloody struggle.

snooky51 (Sassanid Persian 224-349 AD) defeats Rob123 (Romano British 407-599 AD with Anglo Saxon 449-599 AD allies) -- 57-28
Game was really close until the last few turns. The Brits fought hard for their commander, Rob123, often holding for turns at disrupted. However, the quality of the Persian cataphract proved too much.

Dim30 (Thracians) defeated Burgot (Hebrew) 63 / 41
A very hard map ! A deep stream between our armies, hills, rought ground and forest make the map very defensive on each side. I need a victory against Burgot to have a chance to win the division, so I need to attack !
I mass half f of my armie with good thracians lancers inf on my left for an all out attack before Burgot take defensive position. But he counter attack strongly on my right. I need to send reserve from my attack force to hold ! On each side troups fight to the death in rought ground. Enemy troups emerge by thousands from forest ! The mess in our lines allow some flank attack for each side and suspense is at max level. In the end the collapse of his gibborim and of his attack force give me victory. A very interesting game who could have turn to other side at each turn ! Thank Burgot.

Dim30 (Hebrew) beat Burgot (Thracians) 44 / 5
Very hard to attack a big hill trought a deep stream. So I use my only advantage : Firepower ! a lots of firepower ! After I have won skirmishers battle I just deliver arrows by thousand to soften ennemy troups. Victory is mine in the very last turns when I launch an all out attack on weakened troups ! A very hard game and the score don't reflect the good placement and fight of Burgot. Thank for both games Burgot.
