Phalanx Battles

Post by sum1won »

This is a special onlines ruleset being developed for unusual online games.

Rules:

Army be at least 1/3 spearman (levy) units. Round upwards, but do not count the legate.

Spear men levy units must outnumber any other unit type by at least one- if you have 4 spearmen, then you cannot have more than 3 militia, for example.

Allowable units are-Spearmen Levies, javelinmen/velites, skirmishers (javelin skirmishers, not cletic bow skirmishers!) , militia, light cav/scout cav, peasents, legate (duh).

Id appreciate it if some oldtimers (possum, this means you!) could try a match or two with this rules.

This is designed for the second lowest cash/denari settings (2000d 5000xp, I believe)

Hell, yes!

I'm there for ya, bro

PM me about time/date and such, so we don't clutter this venue, please.

I was just thinking the other day how it has been months since I played any LA multiplayer.

I became discouraged when I got whipped so bad by that one guy, (WTF was his name?), and then I read about a "trainer" for LA and I started wondering if there was something rotten in Denmark. Losing to a better player isn't so bad. I never minded losing to you. But being beaten by a cheater just takes all the fun out of it.

Hmmm

BTW, I saw a trainer for legion arena on gamershell- anybody know what it does? Its called the +2 trainer

I dont think Ive run into any cheaters on legion arena- I did just lose a game to ZappSweden, using one of my pre-patch armies against a post-patch army. He is pretty good, and using a dated army didn't help much.
