Division F

Malabar26 (Indian (Rajput) 650-1049 AD with Indian (Hindu North) 600-1049 AD allies) defeats wmpryor (Pictish 477-850 AD with Scots-Irish 477-899 AD allies) 45-4.

Lots of careful manoeuvers against a (mostly) concealed opponent until the Picts suffered disruptions in cascade.

I will happily spectate as I don't think I could survive the stress of playing in either of the divisions I would be placed in. Any medal at any age in any division is a feat. The skill and experience of the "A" division is the best I have seen in a long time...many seasons. A bronze won there is worth a gold in any age or division, in my opinion.

Good luck commanders, I look forward to the drama and I am hoping Snugglebunnies is planning a new series for his channel. 8)

Mark.
Well Mark you, LuciusSulla, PompeytheFlatulant and Pantherboy aren't there so it can't be that difficult :-) For the first time in FOG DL I have not yet posted a challenge and its been a number of days since the section opened for play.

Division E

Darkwater247 - Alan 651-1049 AD (1600) defeats deeter - Arab Conquest 629-637 AD (1600) 56-29

The Alans managed to get a win, largely thanks to their lancers seeing off the arab cav, allowing for the horse archers to shoot and run at the spearmen.

Thankyou Deeter for the game (a pleasure)

Questar17 - Etruscan 330-280 BC with Gallic 300-101 BC allies beat ericdoman1 - Rhoxolani 350 BC-24 AD with Skythian 300 BC-50 AD allies 62:48

Good but too long game vs ericdoman1 army. For sure the opponent should score any points as imo he maneouvred his troops much better than me.

The veteran legions ravaged my sparabara, but the Immortals, Greeks, and Persian cavalry managed to overcome the remainder of the Romans to pull off a victory. Good game.

Division E

carpenkm - Roman 24 BC–196 AD with Sarmatian 25-375 AD allies defeated Badger73 - Palmyran 258-273 AD 65 - 45

A great match which i'm not sure how i won! It genuinely could have gone either way and was only really decided by a sudden collapse of three Auxiliaries and a cataphract who suddenly decided that like under Rome really wasn't that bad at all (roads, wine, education, sanitation.......) Sudden collapses summed up the match - i guess my troops were marginally less pathetic than my opponent's and more likely to rally and hang around at the back watching safely at a distance.

Good fun, tough game and good chat - thanks Badger
