Just been looking around this forum and I cant find any mods although there seem to be a few references to mods. It would be really helpful if any major mods available were stickied in the mod section so it was easy to find them. Just seems to be very little organisation to this forum at all. I mean wahts this BJR mod that I see mentioned around the place? I cant find any postings explaining anything about the actual mod at all?

Thanks seems that mod is only suitable for human vs human which may be something for the future, not a the moment though I am enjoying playing the AI.

No I was more thinking about mods to alter the air and naval unit sprites to reflect their countries better for example UK should have Lancasters for their bombers and eprhaps Hurris then Spits for their fighters. Also America and a few others dont have their own planes and ships. Would be nice to see these added.

Also I dont really like the B&W general and terrain pics,a nyone done any colour versions at all?

And finally I was wondering whether it would be possible to add the Pacific war to the map and the Japs to the game? Or is that just out of the question? Would be a good idea for Commander 2?

I think everyone wants to see Pacific added. Not sure if it's in the cards though.

As for the mod I think you can play it vs AI. if you follow house rules it will make a tougher game for you.

Sorry to disagree, but as one of the people who worked on this (I'm the "J" in "BJR") I can confirm it does not play well against the AI. An example: if the AI runs the Axis, it does not utilize the DAK in North Africa, and just leaves it sitting in its start position.

At all points in the development of this mod, it was geared towards pbem and tcp/ip games.

I would agree that following the house rules in a game vs AI, whether using the mod or not, will make for a better playing experience, and give more of a challenge.
