After a hard, hard fight, the French defeated the Byzantines. Well played by Aetius as the terrain favored the French.

Re: Ever-Green League - 900 AD
Some thoughts on retiring temporarily from the Ever-Green Leagues. Please note that instead of retiring temporarily, it's possible to achieve a lighter load of games to play simply through:
- not make any challenges of your own.
- decline challenges if you don't have the time to play the games (always possible).
- play the game in a slow pace (up to three weeks between challenge and concluded game).

Re: Ever-Green League - 900 AD
That's fair enough. The EGL is not meant to require ongoing commitment and constant playing: it's meant to offer a (counter) balance of friendly games to more competitive leagues and tournaments, i.e., when schedule in e.g. the Digital League is busy, there may be no time or need to play games in the EGL. And when on the other hand there's not much going on in the tournaments, games in the EGL may pick up again as a way to play friendlies. So it's on and off, and will be. That's why it's better to halt activity in the EGL and to decline some challenges than to leave the EGL temporarily.imatson2527 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 6:13 pmDeeter declined.imatson2527 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 9:27 pm imatson2527 Viking (Ireland) 900-1049 AD
