I just tested launching the 7 Marines campaign in 8.6.1. Works fine.
Try downloading the latest version and reinstall.
I assume you are starting the game selecting the Korean mod? If you play the regular version the game will surely halt when trying to load a scenario.

I must be doing something wrong. I downloaded the Korean Mod Korea_0.24 and placed it in it's entirety into

C:\Users\bgt\Documents\my games\Order of Battle - WW2\Mods\

The Mod choice shows up when I start the game, I choose the Korean Mod and Single player. I get the Mini campaign choices and select 7 Marines , I get the map and situation reports (3) and then Start the selected scenario. At that point the loading tip box (which is not hung, I get multiple tips) comes up and the slider proceeds to approx 1/3 position and that is all I get, stuck.

What am I missing? I don't have to do anything with Path or something (Windows 10)?

Looks like you're doing everything right. Sorry, but I have no more tips.
Maybe some of the modders have something to add?

I loaded onto the Laptop and ran it without issue so I guess the bad news is that there is something corrupt on my desktop (though I reloaded OoB and the customizations) Must be something in the registry that I am not getting cleaned up. Oh well, at least I can play it. Great work guys and thanks!

I would uninstall OOB on the desktop, restart PC and reinstall from scratch...

Make sure to have at least OoB version 8.x running, other than that it should work fine. The mod has separate unit and commander files, it works "outside" of the usual OoB game.

Finally got around to totally removing OoB and redid it from scratch. Of course things are working as advertised now! Thanks a bunch for the help. My father - in law fought with the 7th Cav from one end of Korea and back , then back again (bronze star with V for valor device, purple heart, etc) so this is a real treat for me to 'visit' some of the territory he fought for.

This is an ongoing process where the mod grows as I request more stuff...

You can beta-test the mod now.
This download contains:
Mod
Chosin Reservoir single scenario
8 Ranger Co Korea 1950 mini campaign
89 Tank Bn Korea 1950-51 mini campaign
7 Marines Korea 1950 mini campaign

Korean War 1950 v0.24 20-7-2020

Please report any issues with the scenario or the mod in this thread.
Have fun.
Hi :)
Here I'm again (but the first time in this thread of the Korean War (great Idea - when do we see Vietnam ? ;) )!
And I have an Issue about it: After a few turns (3) the whole game stops (!) during AI calculatings!
It only can ended by the task manager.

I don't know what is the problem :(

I have only two played, tried to play:
1st 7 Marines battle for the hills
2nd the 89th Tank Bn in Korea, deflating the bulge
I have auto save active, so I have always a last save to repeat a round and get one or two further!
At the actual (right now) test , the game stuck after three rounds during my turn after moving a unit. Suddenly the screen freezed!

1st 7 Marines Battle for the hills, it seems equal, it stopped in the first, than in the second scenario (Toktong Pass "As long as we fight like marines") 6.Round.
But the round seems to be. Randomly that the game freezes and could only ended via task manager.

I have got 9.0.0 (I had stated this)
OK. my version is 0.24, if there is a newer, it would be welcome :)
Yes, I start the game, select the Mod ("Korean war"), than load the last save.
And once again: The scenario starts !! But after a few turns it freezes (at last my PC (Win 10) had an error an need to restart (perhaps something is wrong with it?)).
I play move after move and suddenly its stops . Or the AI plays and suddenly it stops!

I think there is some issue with v9.0 and mods. I've noticed that the AI will sometimes freeze and I have to restart the game. Also the scenario may freeze just trying to move one of my own units. These freezes happens both with old scenarios and new ones created in v9 (I'm currently testing a full 1950 campaign).
This is pretty random and there's nothing wrong with a campaign or the scenarios that I've found.
Annoying, but I guess we have to live with it for now.

I've had no problems with my naval mod either.
But the Korean mod adds units, avatars, commanders and replaces one of the terrains as well. A bit more that can screw things up.

I have found one, perhaps (and not the one) mistake in the files:
The folder is named "flags" and it exists 3 times !
1.0 Graphics\Flags (which makes the most sense)
1.1 Graphics\Campaign\Flags (that might be ok)
1.2 Graphics\Commanders\Campaign\Flags (Which makes no sense, especially because it is the same as the one in "Graphics\Campaign\Flags"
I have deleted the last one, the game works like before, but a little bit longer. And that's the next point:
I thought, because of the error in the task manager said "it's waiting for an input", I should try out some keys. And at the first attempts, it seems to be the "J" Key. But after a few rounds the game stucks once again :(.

So this is not the right solution, I have to search further. :?
Greetings
