Wolves at the gate in Medieval
Hello,
sorry for the silly question, but there will be a way to use a Field of Glory 2 dlc with medieval?
Specifically I'm interested in the Wolves at the gate one, since the Late Antique is basically the start of medieval times. Or maybe will you make a "prequel" dlc for this one?
Or neither?
Thanks in advance

The "Time Warp" module, which we plan to release as part of the next free update, will allow any army from FOG2 Ancients and all of its dlcs to fight against Medieval armies from FOG2 Medeival in SP or MP Custom Battles. It won't be necessary to own FOG2 or its DLCs to do so.
It won't allow Ancient armies to fight against Ancient armies in FOG2: Medieval

Wonderful!!
so it means that having Medieval, I can battle armies from ancient, but only a Medieval one vs Ancient, did I get it right?
Can I command an ancient this way or I will only be able to play against it?

Will units from ancient lists have their prices adjusted to be in line with medieval, where I think most units other than knights had a point cost reduction?

Medieval vs Ancient, or Ancient vs Medieval, but not Ancient vs Ancient.Hrafnagudh wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 2:34 pm Wonderful!!

Any chance of the price adjustment being retrofitted to Field of Glory 2? I think they go a long way towards making horse nomad armies more competitive.rbodleyscott wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 2:50 pmYespompeytheflatulent wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 2:47 pm Will units from ancient lists have their prices adjusted to be in line with medieval, where I think most units other than knights had a point cost reduction?

It is something that we might consider at some point, but it would have to be part of a major rebalancing, and would need extensive beta testing. In the meantime it is possible we have reduced the cost too much in Medieval. Further competitive play may enlighten us.pompeytheflatulent wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 2:55 pmAny chance of the price adjustment being retrofitted to Field of Glory 2? Well sounds great to me

Re: Wolves at the gate in Medieval
It would be nice if the Lobos del Mar lists could play with each other, even sanbox campaigns. After all, they are medieval.

In fact FOG2 Ancients lists whose date range extends past 1000 AD will be able to play each other. Earlier ones, not.
