snooky51 (khazars) defeats kronenblatt (bulgars) -- 53-18

A tight battle that broke open late, both sides had success with their initial arrow volleys but the extra khazar cavalry units were able to hit flanks and win the day.

Aetius39 (Indian) defeats Kronenblatt (Bulgar) 48-0

Tough one for the Bulgars as they had to eventually charge into a storm of arrows, which didn't work out too well for them. Good attempt at giving it a try, though, as the Bulgars danced around the Indians making it hard for them to keep together in formation.

Aetius39 (Indians) defeats Karvon (Numidians) 43-8

There was a lot of early positioning and the Numidians lost a few lights as they moved to their right and the Indians followed. In melee there were a few flank attacks by the Indians, but near the end they were pretty beat up and very lucky a few key fragged units held. The score doesn't show the actual game as it was much closer and could have easily been a Numidian victory if some of those fragmented units broke (Indians famous for those chain reaction breaks). GG and thanks for playing Karvon!^^

Aetius39 (Indian) defeats peterpiper (Roman) 60-30

The Indian arrows rang true and managed to disrupt when they needed, but it took a while to finish due to how often units regained cohesion on the Roman side. GG!

Unfortunately, it seems SSB has disappeared for now; he has not played turns nor responded to PMs over the past 2 weeks. Thus, his stalled games are now considered forfeit. If he fails to reappear, his remaining games will likewise be forfeit.

SnuggleBunnies (Jews) defeats Karvon (Numidian) 41-15

A Deep Stream bisecting the battlefield made things tough for the Numidians thanks to the Jewish army's light infantry swarm.

Captain Savage defeats SSB 40:0

Aetius39 (Indians) defeats snooky51 (Khazars) 67-39

Tough luck for the Khazars, as when the game was tight, both Khazar cavalry chased routed a Indian unit far away from battle (one went off the map). That gave them much less versatility, and the Indians were able to squeeze out the win. GG snooky!

Aetius39 (Indians) defeats SSB (Arabs) 47-21

The Indians braced for the Arab assault, and they launched from an angle at the Indian front lines. Luckily the archers didn't completely fold, and although several routed, others held up a bit and that gave time for the Arab cavalry to get teamed up on and broken. A javelin light inf and Indian medium held up 3 lancers in the forest which helped take them out of the action. In the end it was still close as the Arabs punched several holes in the line, but ultimately the Indians prevailed. GG SSB, you played a great game!

This is my last little wars game, so I just want to thank my opponents and Karvon. I'll definitely be in LW3 if it comes out!^^

Here's the almost final rankings. There are still a couple of games yet to be reported, but those won't impact the final medal due to the current totals. Congrat's the SnugglesBunnies for finishing at the top!

Great fun, Karvon. It may not be for everyone but I really enjoy these tiny battles, where every move and roll matter so much more.
