Endsieg - Moscow 1944 - AI & FOW

In the Moscow 1944 scenario in the Endsieg campaign the AI is using arty on my infantry in forests and towns near Klin that it has no LOS to. How is that happening or is this part of the scenario design that AI can see through FOW in this scenario?
