Re: Admiral's Alternate Arsenal (3A) VOTE! CR.32 colors!
That would be great, even with static 'chess' figures. All the tanks are like that anyway.
I've been trying my best to implement new units, but for some reason I can't get it done. Don't worry about the graphics, since I'm a graphic designer myself (2D, not 3D unfortunately) I can make those (already done for another game, Operation Citadel). Maybe they need some resizing or putting them in a different format, but that's no issue.
Maybe you can contact me in private to discuss this further?

Maybe if you have viber or discord? PM is quite ... uncomfortable for a longer discussion (with files show as well).
I'm into 3D more, than 2D (there I suck with 2D textures huh). What software you use? I have 3DS Max (9 for compatibility with exporters) and Photoshop (old but good). Also I started working with Sound Forge for sound effects. Quite unusual new experience. Result worth it!!

We would rather need a 3D designer for this game(and friendly as well).jagularbob wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 1:50 pm That would be great, even with static 'chess' figures. All the tanks are like that anyway.

For Operation Citadel I was mainly involved in the early development stage, giving hints and tips about gameplay and such. Basically a lot of things

What we need is a Unity expert...
... or some benevolence from the devs to allow us to mod infantry, planes (anims, props, exhaust effect...) The game exe should recognize Exhaust helper objects, Propellerors... etc.

Greetings fellow Modders and Players! Dear OOB Developers!
I dropped in to see what's going on. The recent year put some serious burden (and injury) on me, and finally led to the end of my career - which is after all not a big loss - this means I will have new perspective in front of me... like my own design studio and 3D manufacturing enterprise.
And of course, I'd like to return to gaming and modding, as soon as possible... I have a hard two years to make up for.
I wish you all good health, peaceful life and happy family. We realize their true value when we don't have them anymore.
Yours
Zoltan

Admiral's Arsenal will be something more, than just OOB mod, but finger's crossed. Damn this virus madness all around...

I'm glad you're okay, Zoltan.
In my opinion OoB needs some MAJOR overhaul to still be attractive in the future. Adding new DLCs is nice, but they lack some kind of innovation. Lately the "same old, same old" feeling was predominant playing the latest campaigns.
Sure, I wouldn't want to "break" the older campaigns with some completely new mechanic or whatever either. But something has to happen. If not a OoB sequel, then... I don't know...

OoB WWII needs new terrain (Bocage...), new specializations, new triggers, new types of units (V1 & V2 rockets)...GabeKnight wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 7:01 am I'm glad you're okay, Zoltan.

We will see, what can we do. But of course, it is up to the devs how and if we can cooperate

Dear Friends, fellow modders and scenario builders!
It has happened some times in the past that I pooped up here, then again disappeared. As you may know these years were harsh, not to me but to most of us. It seems that now i have dragged godess Fortuna by her ankle and found some order and peace in my life.
All I want is to return to creation and cooperation with the old fellas here... I missed a whole lot and need to catch up with new information. And to release what I have done, but still sitting on it being a maximalistic neverwillbe perfectist A-hole...
As i noticed we can even make coding changes? Whoa.. I certainly need some update.. (eyes wide open)

Seem you can't download this mod, gives a security warning and stops.
