They are not going to tell us until they are ready. For now, it's AO1941. If you look at the history of the DLC developments for example, you can tell that any one employee (like Kerensky or beta testers) would be in big trouble with the higher ups if any of them gave up details of upcoming DLC early before they are finalized and the company is ready to make any such announcements or spoilers officially. It's easy to understand why. Just like actors who are not allowed to tell the public what transpires in later episodes of a television series.

I don't like the year by year rollout for the campaign. I would like to see a campaign theater format like:
North Africa
Sicily/Italy
Normandy up to Falaise
A grand Eastern Front campaign
The format of going year by year is going to lead to deficiencies all around. 1941 would be huge to manage between the North Africa campaign and Barbarossa.
Just my thoughts.

I am going to guess that you are not familiar with Panzer Corp 1's DLCs, and my apologies if you are and I've misunderstood you.crawdaddyo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 1:43 pm I don't like the year by year rollout for the campaign. I would like to see a campaign theater format like:

They are in all likelihood doing what you suggest, but it takes time for all of it to come out, piece by piece. Starting with 1941 it will be all Eastern Front, if they follow PC1. Then, once that's complete, they will do a separate series of campaigns/DLCs that cover Africa, the Western Front, etc. In the PC1, you got to import (if you wished) some of your core from the end of DLC 1941 as it began with '42/43. It covered commando raids in France before moving to Sicily and mainland Italy. Then back to France for D-Day. Africa Corps was an entirely different DLC/campaign. Same will be true with Allied campaigns.
Now I'd like more depth and stretch those campaigns out a bit more, but otherwise it works. They just can't make them all at once.

You're correct in that I'm not a veteran of the PG1 game. I will take your word for the current organization. You make a good argument on having to roll this out in chunks.

while I know they are not making a version for Mac OS, id kill for a iPad version of this game. I still play the OG Panzer Corps on a consistent basis.
