Downloaded v9 from the store and ran it. Get's a message about needing v9. The 'Open Website' takes you to a page with Mac 8.6.9 and PC 7.1.4...?

Edit: You need to go to the files download for Defiant to find a 9 installer. Which appears to be the same one above. Loop-the-loop.

Edit2_ The download links in the first post obviously downloads a different v9 than the one in the store or available on My Page.
The useless one is about 1.89MB and the other is the usual GB-someting.

Yep, links from the Store or My Page are both broken in various ways.
The links in the first post actually work.

They aren't broken, I've just tested them. Try with a different Internet browser.

After clicking those links above? It finally downloaded but man, was that a long update or is it just me?
No problems now and all seems to be fine.
Thank you for your help.

The links work but not for Google Chrome which blocks Zip downloads. The direct links in an earlier post work fine with Chrome

Not broken as such, but neither of them downloads the v9 install, only v9 Defiant. At least I couldn't find any install downloads on My Page.

SOUND OFF, MEN!

What problems are there, if any, with this 9.0.0 update?

The 9.0.0 is just an update like any other update.
You can update your game by:
- Clicking in the "Update" button in the launcher screen
- Download manually via the download section in the game's product's page
- Download manually via the mirror links posted in first post

Hello,

After install,
I can not play the game Allies Defiant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When setting up the units after looking at the 2D strategy card, you can no longer place the units or move them later in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you purchase Allies Defiant? I think all ppl can just get the 9er patch, but unless you actually buy the Allied DLC you just get the free tryout. This is the same for other DLCs, without buying them you get the first scenario for free in each, but not the full campaign afterwards.

If you purchased the Allied DLC and it still doesn't work please contact the support.

I have played a few turns multiplayer and a few Free French stand-alone turns so far. No issues, but I have not spent any time in the v9 editor yet.

Thanks. When you reported an issue with scuttling ships in that FF scenario, it was the first concern that popped into my head. I have a love/hate relationship with game updates.

I managed to add the Factory to my Korean mod to add some industrial targets for my ROK guerillas, so I feel good :)

I haven't looked into details like torpedo launches etc.
We have assigned other more detailed-oriented players on this forum for minuteae stuff like that

It's a snow day here, so I gathered biscuits, bandages, and bourbon and thought to update my 8.10 version. The start screen gave me the usual FTP error when I tried Check For Updates. Popped the cork on the jug and used the US download link ledrobi provided to get the MultiUpdateComp-v9.00. That's a better choice anyway in case a rebuild is required later. I was confused for a moment when the installer prompted for a serial number (fumbled with my US Pacific sn), but just ignored the prompt and the upgrade took off. It ground away for a good amount of time, and finished. Launched the game and played the first scenario of Burma Road for a test case. The only issue I noticed was the white lettering on some of the pop-up windows was hard to read. Emboldened, I added the last 3 DLCs to my installation.

All in all, it was trivial to accomplish the upgrade and additions. No snags nor scratches. Hats off to the development and distribution teams- you folks did a very nice job. Thank you!
