support ship

Hi everyone,can you help me? i would like to take an existing naval unit and create one as a support unit for refueling, ammo and repair, what should i do?

Sorry to say, currently there is no way to make a unit that will supply and repair ships. :( It might be possible to simulate that effect with scripts but that's something I'm not really familiar with.

As for scripts, the main problem is that, as far I know, it's hard (not technically though) to have "map-wide" effect for units; I mean (especially) for example resupplying some units due to the presence of supply units next to them. It would need a specific trait not yet featured, see older thread about new traits... I don't exactly know happened to this project.

I've used scripts (with triggers like destroy a depot, capture an objective or occupy a resupply zone) to provide extra supplies for land units, and also occupy specific zones to reduce supplies to the enemy. I think that PAK mod and Battlefield Europe do something similar.

You'll certainly get a response there, PAK Mod has this feature, but I don't know if BE does.
