Speaking of Mods

PAK mod has been able to work on my computer. In looking at it it seems like the same game just with a butt load more units to play with.

Is there some greater element to it, and is it worth playing the Afrika Korps version of the PAK mod, if so what difficulty?

Huge maps for Afrika? Or scenarios like BE?

I don't know about Africa, I have just seen the big maps of Europe and Russia on the PAK mod page here on the forum:

Bummer...I couldn't find anything about changes to Afrika. I am really itching to play there since I am reading Mellenthin's book covering Gazala…

I see this DMP that Storm eagle played on his channel that someone linked to...that looks fun

sweet I downloaded it, but am having trouble getting it to work. I wish I just understood mods so I could download them all, instead of waiting for my nephew to come around. So many mods so much fun.

By the by I checked out the PAK Mod a little more...it is the vanilla campaign that is the insanity BE style. I think that may be what I play next when I finally finish BE in a year or 2.

Nico has a modified AK with 10 Italian scenarios before getting to the Standard AK campaign
It is down the page a bit.
You can just drop it into your Mod folder.

Im start a Mod Rommel 40-44 (small scale, history accurate)
-1940 France: 2-3 Scenario then choice:
A: 1941 DAK (historical)
B: 1941 East Front (semi-historical)

Much more interesting than Mellenthin
