The branches in the campaign allow to lengthen the life and to be able to play to battles that took place at the same time but in different places. I don’t like it when I’m given a path according to the outcome of the previous battle but I like it when I’m given the choice.Ezequiel1996 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 4:38 pm Yes,its planned, on the Warsaw scenario selection, and in the scenario Spoils of war after warsaw, i personally dont like path selections, since a prefer to play them all in one playthrough instead of having to reload and chose a different path, since most likely you're going to play both paths anyway, but if people like this more i can add it for the scenarios on 1940 where you have to chose to fight France or british forces after the crossing in sedan.

Actually what im was planing to do in the GC, was to play every scenario in a row, so instead of chosing to fight french or british on the 1940 you will fight them both, as an example the scenario path will look something like this: french1, french2, french3, British 1, British2, British3. and for times i actually was thinking of using the hour set to 1 hour per turn so you can fight a battle in 17 of September and the other 18 of September, adjusting a little bit the timings so you can play everything.

Will it mean that it will be possible to win a battle in a few hours or that for longer battles it will be necessary to fight at night? It doesn’t seem very realistic.Ezequiel1996 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 4:37 am Actually what im was planing to do in the GC, was to play every scenario in a row, so instead of chosing to fight french or british on the 1940 you will fight them both, as an example the scenario path will look something like this: french1, french2, french3, British 1, British2, British3. and for times i actually was thinking of using the hour set to 1 hour per turn so you can fight a battle in 17 of September and the other 18 of September, adjusting a little bit the timings so you can play everything.
Would it not be better in the first instance to try to remain faithful to the original scenarios of panzercorps (by making adaptations due to the new PzC2 rules) and to make modifications of the scenarios in a second time

Re: (Custom Campaign) Grand Campaign 1939 (Beta)
Actually night combat happened a lot, and as the game doesn't have night cicle or doesn't show the hours of a battle in the turns, it doesn't really matters actually, since there are lot of things that aren't realistic in the game itself, obviously with longer battles you will have more days of fighting, and in shorter battles you will have 1 or 2 hours turns...but i don't inteend to do that on the GC (the turn durations) i will do that on a new campaign im working on, because it has a lot of scenarios that aren't covered in the game or the dlc's.jeannot le lapin wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 5:36 amWill it mean that it will be possible to win a battle in a few hours or that for longer battles it will be necessary to fight at night? I can't finish Kampinos Forest. I killed all trains and captured all targets, but I got a loss.
I also noticed that Piatek is spanish for me.
So far the Campaign is much better compared to the official 39 mission

Bug: when we import a scenario of Panzercorps 1 in Panzercorps 2, the Entrenchment of imported units is set to zero instead of being set to "default"

Re: (Custom Campaign) Grand Campaign 1939 (Beta)
well that's our main goal right now before releasing the GC 39, test if we can export our core, if it works properly we will release it later today, for that we will create a 2 or 3 scenarios 1940 gc to see if it exports correctly. then we will start working on 1940jeannot le lapin wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 8:42 pm Good news, will it be possible to carry my veteran core army from the GC 39 to the GC 40 ?

I think this topic an be locked now that final mod was released
Re: (Custom Campaign) Grand Campaign 1939 (Beta)
That may or not be the final mod. As people play test this they may find errors or corrections that need to be made that we are not aware of. We may have to adjust the difficulty up and down as well. As the team gets more and more creative with the LUA scripting we may update the campaign to reflect that.MagicAndre1981 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 10:00 am I think this topic an be locked now that final mod was released

Hi Ezekiel,
I see in this Forum two downloadable content links for the Grand Campaign 1939.
Grand Campaign 1939 and Grand Campaign Version 1.3
What is the difference?
After downloading and unzipping both files the produce the same foldername GC1939.
What is the difference? In one folder I see lua-files - the other one shows json Files.
Thanks for an info.
