Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.
I suppose that being a non standard, mainteinance or units workshop manufactured vehicle, there were some variations between different individual makings. May be some units mounted the gun a little higher in order to allow it to fire over the cabin roof, and in some other cases, it was lower positioned and it was limited to fire to the sides and to the back when doing it so at low or zero elevation. As the truck illustration I found showed the gun mounted on a wooden platform which was, in turn, fixed over the regular cargo bed floor, I preferred to make the AT version as a front firing one. Besides, I am also not familiar with the function of the "backfire" trait, and, last but not least, I liked it more that way...

Another German campaign made improvisation: an armored truck on the Soviet GAZ-AAA truck chassis (which, in turn, was based on an American Ford design).
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

One just for the fun of it... The icon for the Su-2 tactical bomber made originally by Bebro, but with a "plain" look, without camo paint, just plain old, vanilla looking green...

The complete family of Soviet heavy hitters... The 152 mm gun M1935 (Br-2), the 203 mm howitzer M1931 (B-4) and the 280 mm mortar M1939 (Br-5). May the force of the "Queen of the Battlefield" be with you...

Hello guille! Thanks for your great work.
I'm currently adding your AT-icons to my game. I saw you mentioned an AT-version of the Mobelwagen at the beginning of this thread, but it doesn't exist in your complete download in the starting post? Do you still have it somewhere?
edit: nevermind, I found it on page 2

Hello Bobrar!
Wellcome to the forum! It is always good to know that new people is joining this community. We, the few who remain here, want everyone to know that Panzer Corps 1 has a lot to offer to new and old players and modders...
Forget about those old icons (I started it all in 2012, now that I think about it!
). As I am currently working in German SPAA units, because of your petition I made a rework of the Mobelwagen icons. I think these new ones will look better in your game.
Greetings!

As a complement to our conversation with Lennis about SPAT units, I upload here the PZJager I icons and the equipment files values of said unit for the switches I impleneted for such type of units...

Nice! The top pic would make a great icon for Lennis' "Overwatch" mode that he is implementing for some SPATs.

Hi PzC Comunity.
I'm making some adjustments, I'm going to need help.
I'll be shipping my first beta, all of the 1939 DLC.
I'm also going to need Guille to help me as a translator.

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.
Here is a replacement set for the switching button in the UI. For me, with many switch-capable units, its important to know at first glance if a unit is capable of switching or not. Because of that, I like to make the "available switch" button clerly visible...
These buttons are based on the ones present in the Battlefield: Europe mod UI.
Happy switching!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and more.

I agree it is good when there is a switch button shooting at full weight and at point blank range )WWII was especially significant in that it was the first large war where air power played a major role. Each country had to find a way to protect not only stationary positions from air strikes, but moving troops also. In the first years of the war Germany ruled the skies and didn't focus much attention on manufacturing self-propelled anti-air units as they had little to worry about. Things began to change in 1942 though and Germany began to seriously pursue the production of a better self-propelled gun. They tried various designs mixing different types of guns and chassis, but only in 1944 did they manage to produce a truly remarkable unit. They mounted four anti-air cannon in an open rotating turret, which was mounted on a Pz.IV chassis. The result was incredible - the Wirbelwind was always combat-ready and not only was it effective for covering mobilized troops on the go, but thanks to the all-purpose sights that had been installed, it was an awesome anti-personnel weapon. In northern France, a single Wirbelwind managed to disperse and destroy an entire infantry battalion of 800 men. Due its late introduction, very few of these truly exceptional weapons were manufactured by the end of the war.
