Question about difficulty and expert play...

1. Thought I read a quote about tournaments? Is that right? Where, who and when? How many players?

I strongly recommend the Ever-Green leagues, as it is a good way to learn how various armies work, and there is no risk of being stuck playing with the same badly-chosen army for game after game.

2. Question on AI, "nature of the beast" - can the AI beat the best players on the highest difficulty, level VI? Or can you eventually outwit the AI no matter what the difficulty? How easy is it to do so, can most players quickly do it, or does it take a long time / lot of practice?

I will leave it for someone independent to answer this question. Although it isn't really a technical support question, so you may be better off re-posting it in the main forum.
