Anyway to stop flags from moving?

I'm going to play this game on my laptop since I'm on the road, but if there are more than a few flags in the scene it just absolutely lags beyond belief. Downgrading all other video options won't help as long as the flags keep blowing in the breeze.

Howdy Brad,

I also play PC2 on a laptop when traveling. Through data logging, I've found adjusting the following video options to make the biggest difference for game performance:

- Target FPS Rate: I bottom out to 20
- Shadows Quality: I turn off
- Landscape Tesselation: I turn off

Making these changes prevents my el cheapo laptop from getting too hot and crashing the game. Also, I would suggest playing with your power cord plugged in. Most laptops will reduce performance when running on battery. Lastly, avoid using the Deep Recon generals trait and don't remove Fog of War. The more the map is revealed puts greater load on your GPU. Hope this helps. R2 Out
