thinking of buying PC2 - a question

since i only play mutliplayer strategy games i went to check on the official discord and it seems that there is 0 multiplayer there.

are the vast majority of the mp games organized directly in the game lobby or is it some other discord server? that said, is multiplayer alive? by alive i mean can i play every day and find at least 2-3 games (assuming games do not last more than 4 hours on average)

this is THE deciding factor for me so if anyone who is versed in multiplayer could answer me
