Romans win.
Which I reckon to be tyronec won. As always you switch armies, but in this case then also places (since tyronec in the lowest place won), making the situation look as follows for you guys:

6 tyronec Lysimachid 320-281 BC
...
9 TomoeGozen Roman 340-281 BC

I prefer us being equal and I wouldn't feel like I have won if I have an advantage on points, hope that's OK

pw = equals

I think this is the first time we have played each other?

Great, guys! fourth post updated:

ericdoman1 Ptolemaic 320-218 BC currently playing Roman 340-281 BC TomoeGozen

And if you're both fine with each having 1600 FP, then no problem at all. The important thing is to have fun! :)

Wellsonian (Spartan) defeats kronenblatt (Etruscan). It was a very fun match, but when the Spartan veteran hoplites finally got a grip on the Etruscans, they slowly wore them down. Thanks for the great game!

Thanks for quick report, and many thanks to you as well for the battle!

First and fourth posts updated:

7. Wellsonian Etruscan 330-280 BC
10. kronenblatt Spartan 461-281 BC

But both Wellsonian and kronenblatt still need to conclude their remaining game before they can challenge or be challenged.

Please note that I've rearranged the posts in this thread and the other EGL threads so that:
  • Game Schedule is now the second post.
  • Available Armies is now the fourth post.

kronenblatt wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 10:44 am Captainwaltersavage has accepted my challenge, thus:

7 kronenblatt Etruscan 330-280 BC 1600FP (As the challenger, I can decide whether to bring allies to a game, and I've chosen Samnite 355-272 BC in this case.)
versus
5 Captainwaltersavage Macedonian 320-261 BC 1560FP

password: EGL300BC

Enjoy!
10 kronenblatt Etruscan 330-280 BC drew with 5 Captainwaltersavage Macedonian 320-261 BC.

kronenblatt swaps his current Spartan 461-281 BC with Captainwaltersavage's current Macedonian 320-261 BC (but not the places since kronenblatt needed to win for that), resulting in:

5. Captainwaltersavage Spartan 461-281 BC
10. kronenblatt Macedonian 320-261 BC

So please note now that kronenblatt can challenge Wellsonian (who challenged him in the first place) (which he will... ), since he has one game concluded in between, but not yet, since 24 hours must pass between reporting a result as challenger and challenging again.

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC

Post by kronenblatt »

I've made changes (hopefully improvements) to the first (league table) and second (game schedule) posts, as follows:

1. League table (first post) is now color coded with players who aren't aren't involved and players who are involved in an ongoing game.
2. Game schedule (second post) also color coded to show which games are ongoing and which are concluded, along with the date games were started and (if applicable) concluded (only goes for new games starting now). In addition, players' places are presented.

Both posts have time stamps when they were last updated (in GMT+1 time zone).

So this will hopefully give you a good indication of whether e.g. another player can be challenged. But please don't entirely rely on that, because it's all dependent upon me having updated table and schedule with reported challenges and results.

But please always look in the latest posts of the thread and see whether these have been posted before or after the time stamp of the table and schedule updates. And always keep in mind, as mentioned above, that time stamps of table and schedule are expressed in GMT+1 time zone, so you may need to translate to your own.

I will try to update table and schedule once per day, but hope for your understanding and patience if that's not always upheld.

Finally, I will from now on not confirm in post that table and schedule have been updated, but you will have to look for yourself in the first and second post and the respective time stamps.

Enjoy and keep challenging and playing! :)

Hi Klay

Go to page 1 and check out posts 1, 2 and 3.

I think there is no problem with you joining in so you can issue a challenge. Just read the rules first.

Cheers

I can confirm that you're now added to this league and the first post with the Syracusan 412-281 BC as your starting army, and you're free to challenge any other player not already involved in challenge or corresponding game (see first and second posts of this thread).

Please read up on the rules (third post of this thread), so that we're avoiding misunderstandings. Of course, should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Welcome and Merry Christmas! :)

Captain Savage (Macedonians) defeated Aetius (Carthaginian) which means armies swap around again and places change.

That's correct, with the clarification that the army you had when this game concluded was Spartan 461-281 BC (received from me as part of our concluded game earlier), thus making the new situation as follows:

4. Captainwaltersavage Carthaginian 340-281 BC
5. Aetius39 Spartan 461-281 BC
