Yes! I'm really happy with the direction of that DLC. That aircraft carrier with yellow lines on its flight deck in the last picture is really cool... can't wait to play these DLCs! Also, "Allies Defiant" is a great name for such a DLC, it reinforces the feeling that the stakes are high and that the Allies (at this point in the war) are ready to defy their seemingly more powerful ennemies.

That´s unfortunate.
Sad to say, but I agree. That's about the reason why I stopped playing RedStorm somewhere in the middle. While well made, as always, it felt very repetitive in a similar way like the Endsieg DLC after playing the previous two.

Therefore I'm very delighted playing the custom NewBritain and SeaLion campaigns right now. Nice combination of the three branches. Naval engagements, amphibious landings and enough land/air battles...
Wholeheartedly agree. After the soviet campaigns, rather not see chains of scenarios with 100+ land CP again. I also never managed to finish the last soviet dlc because of the repetitiveness of the batrles.

I am voting for OoB 2 as well. But with a new trilogy announced it is 1+ years more to add.

Yeah I'm not sure why there's not enough naval battles to warrant core naval units. Given Norway and the Med are part of this campaign there's more than enough naval battles for you to include. The lack of naval battles seems to be a deliberate choice - why it was made, well, perhaps the devs will enlighten me.

In fact, I kind of wish this had been made before Burma Road and ended in 1941 instead of 1942, so you could choose whether to take your forces into Burma or continue the Mediterranean campaign.

Good idea. But I'm wondering about the main faction being British. No core US units in the "Allies" trilogy? Adding them later à la Italians in Sandstorm can not be a possible consideration in a three-part campaign, can it?

Or is the US faction gonna be a spec for the Brits, like the Waffen-SS for the Germans?

My understanding is that the 1st pt. is British, but that doesn't have to be the same in 2nd/3rd. I guess it's simply due to the timeline starting in 1940.
