If it's Aetius39 that you've challenged, it's not possible since rules clearly state:ericdoman1 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 1:52 pm Hi Aetius

A player can challenge another player up to three places above or below him.
And Aetius39 is in place 3, whereas you're in place 12.

Re: Ever-Green League - 900 AD
Just a friendly reminder to everyone challenging out there: please don't forget the option you have as challenger (that the challenged sadly lacks) to bring an ally to the battle. All armies in the second post of this thread are eligible as allies, if they're also in the in-game list among allies for your army in question.
(Example: For Lysimachid 320-281 BC in the Ever-Green League 300 BC, Thracian (Hellenistic) 350-281 BC is an eligible ally, but Seleucid 302-301 BC is not.)

Hello!
Was wondering if there was still a slot in this group. I would take Rus which I believe is still open. Thanks!

Hi
In the 4th post it says no allies. I may have taken the Welsh as a Welshman myself .It would have been the first time I'd used a Welsh army in any form of competition. It's OK, I'll wait for Oath of Fealty.

Absolutely, Isaac: welcome! I'm adding you and the Rus as your starting army to the table, so read up on the RULES and then you're good to go!imatson2527 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 5:02 pm Hello!

Re: Ever-Green League - 900 AD
Correct: that refers to the selection of an army to start with when joining the league. Thus, when selecting which army to start with, no allies should be specified. But thereafter, for any individual game, the player making the challenge has the option to bring an ally (in contrast to the challenged player, who doesn't have access to any allies in that particular individual game). Did that make it more clear?
The RULES state (third and fourth bullet points under Battles):
- The player making the challenge can decide whether his army list uses an ally (from the standard list of allies for that army list), always provided however that such ally's time span covers the actual year in question for that league.
- For example, Thracian (Hellenistic) 350-281 BC is an acceptable ally for Lysimachid 320-281 BC in the Ever-Green League 300 BC, but Seleucid 302-301 BC is not allowed as ally.
- The player being challenged can not use any allies.

Thanks
As you have guessed I am not so hot at reading rules. I have difficulty taking in a certain amount of information but practical experience, "hands on", is good for me.

That's fine, Eric! I'll keep that in mind and will step in and clarify rules, as and when needed.ericdoman1 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 5:50 pm Thanks

I'd like to go with Moravian 833-907 AD please
Re: Ever-Green League - 900 AD
Since tyronic has challenged kronenblatt, does this mean I can't do the rematch yet?
