THree Cheers Nik. It's been quite a ride.

That said, I did audibly sigh a bit when I saw the Hawaii mission but no Japanese units (especially since Early War is pretty much the only thing the vanilla Japanese units are good at modeling).

That said, it has been great fun so far, and I also enjoy the love and attention to detail- and roaming- you've put in. So my compliments!

Edit: Have you considered putting in some "Bonus Missions"/optional ones for non-state US Territories? Like perhaps a tango over the US Virgin Islands or urban warfare in the embarrassment on the Potomac?

In any ase, regards.!

Thank you everyone for your feedback so far. It is greatly appeciated.
I have considered the Japanese in Hawaii but rejected the idea. I'm sticking to a vanilla based equipment file and the Japanese representation in that file is much too meager. I intend to feature the Japanese in California for the sake to have them in one scenario; a wink to the Man in the High Castle.
There are not enough States to fill each month between 1939 and 1945, so yes i am open to add some of the US Territories. Between Hawaii and Maryland, i'm skipping a month for the first time.

That sounds cool. So are the maps then based on the actual states (i.e. form and size, etc.)?

Form yes, size grows in relation to the size of the core army and how many enemy units i throw at the player.

juste a small feedback for the "new hampshire" map : it is a good map but as the weather is often bad, i moved slowly and i was forced to rush in the end so it was not fun in the last turns... i think there should be 25 or more turns and not only 20. I finished on turn 23 with rushing it.( i used cheat codes to add turns )

and thxs for all you have done for this game, you made such balanced and well done scenarios !.

In the first post of this thread i posted another file. It contains a txt file listing the goodies you can find in each map (units, prestige,...). I will call it the spoiler-goodies txt file. The first draft includes scenarios 1 to 3.
There will be a new update this weekend; the update will contain Maryland, West-Virigina and possibly South Carolina too and an updated spoiler-goodies file.

I modified the equipment.pzeqp file to play with the French instead of the Americans
better armored vehicles but the infantry and the air force are less efficient
I would have preferred to modify the campaign but my "editor" no longer works

Nice. I'd play that. Call it "Lafayette's 50 State Tour" or something and keep it alongside the original.

I've used a French force for Allied Corps (with a few later upgrades like Char B1 ter and Somua S42) which was fun, but I didn't come up with a cool name for that.
Back (more or less) on topic, isn't Washington DC something other than a state? If so, then that's one bonus mission, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Aleutians and Kamchatka spring to mind as other possibilities in the general area.

Washington DC is part of the Maryland scenario. A few "bonus" missions will be inserted between the different States. The first one is the Mariana Islands. I was considering to add the "Territories" after the 50 States but i changed my mind for the sake of adding a few missions against the Japanese.

The new version now contains 11 scenarios. Maryland (+Washington DC), West Virginia and South Carolina were added. Five more turns were added to the New Hampshire scenario.
