Crash on Load Game

Game crashes every time I click the Load Game button on the main menu. Screen shot attached. Should I reinstall?

I reinstalled the game and got the exact same error.

Crashes every time I click the Load Game button from main menu.

Strange because I have 75 hours played and have completed campaigns.

Same here after installing 1939 Operations. I reinstalled everything and now it works.

update the sound drivers and make sure the game uses the correct GPU, as you have 2 installed, and sometimes the games won't know which one to use

I've tried every suggestion.

Updated sound drivers.
Updated Graphics drivers.
Assigned dedicated GPU.
Uninstalled/reinstalled (many 3 times.

Still crashes any tine I select Load Game or Save Game (if I start a New Campaign).

So frustrating...

I am also having the same problem with crashes trying to load or save games? Have had my machine wiped clean and reinstalled Panzer Corp Gold and Panzer Corp 2 after having the drivers updated to latest updates. Neither game will load or save without crashing?

Problem persists. I've reinstalled it half a dozen times, updated all my drivers, verified the installation on Steam. Still crashes on Load/Save game from any menu.

then check your firewall and antivirus for game errors or permissions to run etc

installing steam and the game as admin and running both steam and the game as admin works on windows 10, anything else may cause issues with some 3rd party apps and programs

Can you try going to Windows Defender and disabling the option "Controlled Folder Access". The below forum post explains how to do this:

Judging by the first screenshot in this topic, the problem is somehow related to the saves which are stored on your PC. Could you please do the following:

1. Find your saves folder: [Documents]\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Saves
You can also open it from game launcher: click the cogwheel icon in the top-left corner, and then press Saves: [Open] button.

2. (optional) Archive the contents of this folder and send the archive to me at rudankort@yandex.ru so that I could check what exactly went wrong and hopefully fix whatever cause led to this issue in the first place.

3. Delete or move to a different folder all saves which mention "Warsaw (Turn 2" in their name. It looks like one of these saves is causing the issue.
